Auchroisk

Auchroisk is a Speyside distillery based in the Moray town of Mulben. Opened in 1972 by Justerini & Brooks (J&B), it was originally launched as a blending malt for J&B whiskies, but has since released a number of single malts under its own name. It was bought by Diageo in 1997.

Aucroisk has a fruity, spicy and slightly nutty profile. It’s known for its approachability, which is what makes it ideal for J&B blends.

The only official bottling currently on the market is the Auchroisk 10 Year Old, previously sold as The Singleton of Auchroisk. Since 2001, it’s been part of the Flora and Fauna range, and has a light and zesty character. Outside of this official expression, the only other opportunity to sample Auchroisk whisky is via independent bottlers.
