Elements of Islay

Elements of Islay is a brand of Scotch whiskies from Elixir Distillers (formerly Speciality Drinks). It was launched in 2008 and aims to showcase the very best from this diverse region. The master blender is Oliver Chilton, who adds a modern flair to the classic peaty profile.

The range includes small-batch whiskies from every distillery on Islay. They’re bottled at cask strength, are non-chill filtered and have no colours added. The brand uses symbols from the periodic table to represent the different distilleries.

There are three expressions in the core range, all using a variety of cask types. The entry-level release is the Cask Edit, a bold bottling that has been finished in refill, bourbon, and sherry barrels. There are also Elements of Islay Sherry Cask and Bourbon Cask-finished expressions.
