Glenturret

With a history that can be traced back to the 1700s, Glenturret claims to be one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland – although it was another century before the Glenturret name was officially launched. It had previously been known as Hosh.

Glenturret is based beside the River Turret, in Perthshire, which provides the distillery with a constant supply of water. It produces a light and floral Highland spirit, that has largely been used for blends such as Famous Grouse.

Single malts from Glenturret have historically been rare, but we’ve started to see a series of annual releases since 2020 – including Peat Smoked expressions.
