Hinch

Hinch is a relatively new Irish whiskey distillery near the town of Ballynahinch in Northern Ireland – located in the grounds of the Killaney Estate. Founded in 2016, by Dr Terry Cross OBE, they produced their first new make spirit in 2021, with the first official whiskey planned to be released in 2014. They also make Ninth Wave Gin.

As a young distillery, Hinch’s output is sourced externally, before being matured at their base in County Down. Their range includes blend and single malts, including five and 10 year old expressions. The entry level release is an approachable bourbon cask finished blend, but those looking for something smokier might enjoy the Hinch Peated Single Malt.
