On the shores of Loch Harport, Talisker distillery is nestled in the village of Carbost and produces a wonderfully powerful, award-winning single malt bottled at above average strength (45.8%). Talisker's soft, peaty process water is drawn from 21 underground springs that rise from Hawk Hill (Cnoc nan Speireag) beside the distillery. These same springs have fed production from the very beginning in 1830.

Experiment with a bottle of the smoky, slightly darker Talisker Storm or indulge in the cask aged Talisker 18 Year Old to experience the dram that was crowned Best Whisky in the World at the 2007 World Whisky awards. Also on offer for the connoisseurs out there is Talisker's Port Ruighe and Distiller's Edition, the latter of which is double-matured in Amoroso sherry casks for a deep, rich flavour.
