I’m a big fan of Benromach and this one is growing on me. On the nose, malty, buttery, pineapple, apricots with quite a delicate hint of peat. Taste wise, quite peppery, hints of citrus, with vanilla and butterscotch. The peat is gentle and fairly unobtrusive adding nicely to the flavour. The finish is short to medium. I think this is another winner and definitely good value for money…good stuff!
