The Micro Provenance series from Bruichladdich distillery is an exploration into cask evolution, each individually picked by head distiller Adam Hannett to explore the nuances of warehouse location, different oak, cask and micro-climate on the maturing spirit. This time we have an interesting cask selection; Ribera Del Duero - which is a wine region north of Madrid in Spain, usually Tempranillo in variety. Made from Publican barley, aged for 9 years since 2010 and bottled at a mighty 63.5% ABV, this is sure to be a treat for the senses. Only 282 bottles have been released.
