This hearty blend of Tannat, Malbec & Merlot from Chateau de Gensac is the most recent expression of Terre e Terre to be released -This wine is truly a joy to drink; After aging for 24 months in oak barrique which allows the flavours to mingle and mellow together. Ideal for fans of full bodied red wine. Perfect with a Sunday roast or game, we suggest decanting and allowing it some time to breath and really open up. This magnum bottle is perfect for any occasion with plenty to go around!

Notes

Nose

Aromatic notes of cassis, plum, black cherries. Further time out of the bottle reveals notes of leather & raspberry.

Palate

Initial dark fruits cross over from the nose; the addition of Merlot add an extra complexity with plum, liquorice and fresh berries.

Finish

Dry finish from the high tannin content with tobacco & blackcurrant lingering.
