Filey Bay Peated Batch #2 Yorkshire Single Malt Whisky

Predominantly matured in first-fill bourbon casks, which were filled in the winter of 2018, this single malt undergoes a secondary maturation in peated casks, infusing it with the smoky flavours reminiscent of the west coast of Scotland. The distillery adheres to a "Field to Bottle" philosophy, ensuring that all stages of whisky production occur within close proximity to the distillery. For this release, casks were carefully chosen based on the subtle smokiness of the peated whisky they previously held, and this distinctive character is evident in the final product.
