Isle of Raasay Dun CanaSherry Quarter Cask Release

The Isle of Raasay Distillery, located on the scenic Hebridean island of Raasay in Scotland, is celebrated for its innovative whisky-making approach. This limited edition is christened 'Dùn Cana', after a mountainous plateau on the island, one of its highest points. The whisky is a harmonious blend of peated and unpeated spirits with its initial maturation taking place in American rye casks, followed by a secondary maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. The result is a whisky bursting with flavors of peppery spice, dried sultanas, and subtle vanilla, culminating in a finish that offers enduring salty chocolate and a delicate trace of aromatic wood smoke. This release, presented at 52% ABV, boasts a natural color and is non-chill filtered.
