Jeremie Huchet, Chapeau Melon Rouge, Loire Valley 2019

A blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir from the Muscadet-Sèvre et Maine sub-region of the Loire Valley . This vintage is a bright summery red wine that is similar in style to a Beaujolais. However the difference in "Terroir"  shines through with more concise flavours and a fuller body compared to its Western counterpart. Monsieur Hutchet is currently one of the rising stars in the Loire Valley having took over the business in 2001 from his father Yves. This particular vintage is meant to be enjoyed young as to capture the fresh juicy flavours awaiting inside.
