Old Pulteney Stroma Malt Whisky Liqueur
(50CL / 35% ABV)
£19.95
Old Pulteney Stroma is named after a Scottish island just off the North East coast where the Pulteney distillery resides. The island's name originates from the Norse phrase "island in the stream", in reference to the notably dangerous waters surrounding it, which is alluded to in the Stroma's windswept bottle style. The latest Stroma has been bottled at a higher strength than their previous liqueur. It is made with a blend of whiskies from the maritime distillery's selection, resulting in a sweet, robust liqueur.

Simply delicious!
I was pleasantly surprised that it tastes less sweet than other whisky liqueurs and the flavour is a little smoky.
I love Stroma. I use it in a rusty nail as an alternative to Drambuie. Also lovely on its own with ice.
Great tasting Scottish Liqueur. If you like Drambuie and Glayva and fancy a change, try this.
