The ONEMoscatel Wine Cask

The Lakes Distillery are releasing a new edition to their One Collection, with only 4,822 bottles released to the UK market. The Lakes One Collection is a range of fine blended whiskies showcasing the role of innovative cask seasoning in flavor elevation. The One Moscatel Cask Finished Whisky is an uplifting whisky matured in bespoke Moscatel wine casks from the South of Spain. It’s a singular blend of select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from Speyside and Islay with The Lakes Single Malt at its heart. To give this blend a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour it is non-chill filtered and uses the natural colours derived from the oak casks in every bottle.
