The Italian Collection from Tomatin Distillery are three releases finished in different Italian wine casks. This particular release was distilled in 2010 and aged for at least 10 years in ex-Bourbon casks, before being finished for a further 2 years Barolo casks. Barolo is a dry red wine made entirely from the nebbiolo grape in Piedmont, and is one of Italy's most prestigious wines.
