Crafted in the limestone cellar at Maker's Mark Star Hill Farm, this limited release marries 11, 13 and 14-year-old barrels aged at a consistent 50°F. This consistently cool temperature of the cellars slows down the tannic impact that occurs during maturation, keeping the bourbon from becoming overly 'oaky'. Softening the oak influence while enhancing fruit and brightness. The result is an older bourbon that remains unmistakably Maker’s balanced, complex and refined, with depth only time and patience could unlock.
