All orders are shipped in our specialist glass packaging with full tracking to your door – using reputable and secure international couriers. A tracking email is provided when your order is dispatched. We ship whiskies worldwide using fast delivery partners. Orders are shipped directly from our depot to your door Monday-Friday excluding local holidays. Delivery insurance is included within the delivery fee, you can order safe in the knowledge your parcel is fully protected.

Highlands & Islands
Due to increased shipping charges we are unable to offer free delivery on postcodes in the Highlands & Islands regions. Shipping rates to postcodes included in the Highlands & Islands are calculated on the quantity of bottles in the order. The rates are as follows:
- 1-2 Bottles: £5.99
- 3+ Bottles: £19.99

Next-day delivery is available for all UK orders placed before 4pm. Orders placed after the cut-off time on any working day will be processed and dispatched on the following working day.
Any Next Day Weekday orders placed on Friday before 4pm will arrive the following Monday. Please note any orders placed over the weekend with the Next Day Service will be processed on Monday with the parcel out for delivery on Tuesday.
If you require Weekend Delivery- please select the Saturday or Sunday option.
Where an order is time-critical, we ask that you ensure you place your order in good time to avoid disappointment.

All alcohol products sold by House of Malt are sold subject to UK alcohol tax. If we are exporting products to an address in the European Union (EU), then prices are subject to UK VAT. This applies to all countries that make up the EU except for Germany, Ireland and Sweden where local alcohol taxes and VAT are added.
For all deliveries outside of the EU, UK VAT will not be charged. However, your order will be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in your chosen country, which are levied at the time the package clears customs. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, House of Malt has no control over these charges, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Refusal to pay the local import duties and taxes will result in the goods either being:
- destroyed by customs; or
- goods being returned to sender at the cost of the consignee (costs will be deducted from any refund owed).
If your order is being held by your local customs office, you will be able to determine this from the information viewable through the tracking process.
If we are shipping to an address in the US, customs charges will be calculated and added to your order at the time of checkout so that can we complete the customs clearance procedure as soon as it arrives in the US. Your order will not be subject to any further customs charges.
Punctuality of Service
Please note that we are unable to guarantee the punctuality of service provided by our delivery agents, particularly during spells of difficult weather conditions. If your shipment is delivered unacceptably late after having been collected from us on time by our agent, we will try to secure a refund where appropriate.
We take pride in packing your order to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately, there are times when parcels incur damage while in transit. If a parcel shows clear signs of damage or leakage at the time of delivery, we ask that you refuse the parcel. Please ask the courier to return the goods to sender.
