Benriach 16 Year Old

Located in the picturesque Speyside region of Scotland, BenRiach Distillery stands as a testament to the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Scottish single malt whisky. Founded in 1898, this historic distillery has seen a rollercoaster of fortunes over the years, surviving multiple closures and changes of ownership. Despite the challenges, BenRiach's unwavering commitment to producing exceptional whiskies has kept its legacy alive. This recently relaunched bottling was matured for at least sixteen years in a trio of casks; bourbon barrels, sherry and virgin oak. The whisky from each cask is then expertly married together to create a richly balanced malt, layered with stone fruit, creamy hazelnut and overtones of fragrant spice, with finishing notes of wild honey and candied peel.
