The Macallan 12 Year Old
110 ProofSherry Oak

Introducing a striking new 12 Year Old single malt from The Macallan, bottled at a robust 110 Proof (55% ABV). Matured predominantly in European sherry-seasoned oak casks, with a considered proportion of American sherry-seasoned oak, it brings added depth and intensity to The Macallan’s unmistakably rich house style. Where the classic 12 Year Old Sherry Oak offers poise and elegance at 40% ABV, this higher-strength expression takes a bolder approach. The increased strength amplifies the whisky’s richness and concentration, delivering a fuller, more assertive character while retaining the refinement for which The Macallan is renowned.

This is The Macallan with the volume turned up: rich, beautifully composed and just a little more daring. A compelling expression for those who know the classic 12 Year Old and are looking to experience a more powerful side of this celebrated Speyside distillery.
