Legent

Legent is a fascinating crossover of traditional Kentucky bourbon and Japanese craft. It’s a collaboration between Fred Noe, master distiller at Jim Beam, and Shinji Fukuyo, chief blender at Suntory. It was launched in 2019. 

This unique whiskey starts with the classic Jim Beam recipe, which is aged in white oak barrels for five years. These are then finished in a combination of sherry and red wine casks, before Shinji Fukuyo blends them masterfully with Kentucky straight bourbon. 

Legent is a rich and smooth bourbon like no other. The clash of cultures has resulted in a spicy and fruity spirit, whose flavour benefits from the Kentucky summer climate. It’s great for sipping, neat or on the rocks.
