Octomore 16.3 represents the epitome of provenance, power and precision—an archetype of the Octomore ethos. Born entirely from barley grown in Church Field on Octomore Farm itself, just two miles from the Bruichladdich Distillery, this expression is a true single estate whisky. It is a celebration of Islay terroir, distilled with barley harvested from the island’s windswept fields and malted to an extraordinary 189.5 PPM.

Matured for five years in a masterful combination of ex-bourbon, Sauternes and Pedro Ximénez casks, Octomore 16.3 fuses rich sweetness with peated intensity. This cask composition enhances the core barley character, adding layers of honeyed fruit, toasted grain and deep, smoky complexity. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 61.6% ABV, non-chill filtered and without colouring, this is Octomore at its most expressive and elemental.
