A Word About Royal Salute

Royal Salute is a brand of blended whisky that dates back to Princess Elizabeth’s ascension to the throne. Since this historic event in 1953, Royal Salute has celebrated every significant occasion in the lives of the monarchy. Launched and owned by Chivas Brothers, it’s often otherwise known as the ‘King of Whisky.’

The whisky is distilled at Strathisla, the oldest operating distillery in the Highlands. It’s named after the traditional 21-gun salute and all expressions are at least 21 years old. This makes for a super premium blended whisky, packaged in a signature ceramic decanter.

The Royal Salute 21 Year Old is the brand’s principal bottling. It offers a balance of sweet, fruit and smoke, with notes of vanilla, pears and spiced nuts. Their ranges also include Classic Blends, Inspired Blends and Pinnacle Blends.
