Bulleit

With a history dating back to the 1830s, Bulleit is a brand of American Whiskey with a rich and storied past. It was created by Augustus Bulleit, a bar owner from Louisville, Kentucky, who sold small batches of bourbon until his death in 1860. The name was revived by his great-great grandson in the 1980s and is now owned by Diageo. It’s known as the Frontier Whiskey. 

Bulleit still uses the original recipe, from more than 175 years ago, adhering to a high rye content. It’s made in small batches, aged in American oak for six years, and bottled at 45% ABV. The result is a sweet and nutty bourbon with a delightful spicy kick. 

The flagship expression is the Kentucky Straight Bourbon. This is a no age statement release, but a 10 Year Old is also available.
