Cadenhead's

Operating since 1842, Cadenhead’s is the oldest independent bottler in Scotland. It was originally founded in Aberdeen as William Cadenhead Limited, Wine and Spirit Merchants, and remained family-owned for 130 years until being sold to J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd (who own Springbank Distillery) in 1971. They now have three sites in Campbeltown, Edinburgh and London. 

Cadenhead’s is most well known for bottling single malt and blended whiskies. The majority of their releases are single casks, with many also being cask strength. Their ranges include the Original Collection, World Whiskies, and Authentic Collection – the latter is where you’ll find exclusive offerings such as this 1964 Springbank.

As well as whisky, they also produce a range of other superior spirits. One of their most recognisable brands is Old Raj, a famous dry gin, but their Classic Rum is also popular with those familiar with the WM Cadenhead’s name. Cognac, Armagnac and Calvados complete their portfolio.
