Glen Keith
Established by Chivas Brothers in 1957, Glen Keith is a relatively modern Speyside distillery in the Banffshire town of Keith. Its output has mostly been reserved for Chivas and Seagram’s blends, with a small number of single malt expressions hitting the market.
The distillery was closed in 1999, reopening in 2013 after the new owner, Pernod Ricard, added a mash tun and washbacks.
Single malt bottlings are rare. The Distillery Edition was the first official release since Glen Keith reopened and is the only permanent expression in their range. A 10-year-old was launched in the 1990s, but this has since been discontinued.
