Glen Moray

Here we have a Speyside distillery from the Moray town of Elgin, located on the banks of the River Lossie.

Glen Moray was founded in 1897, following the conversion of a former brewery. It was bought by Macdonald & Muir in 1923 and remained under their stewardship for over 80 years. During this time, Glen Moray largely contributed to the blends of the group’s principal product, Glenmorangie, but has since forged a reputation as a producer of great-value single malts.

They are known for their extensive range of Scotch whisky. The entry-level Classic range is the ideal introduction to the distillery’s malty and fruity character, and demonstrates a variety of finishes – such as Port, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Other ranges include the Curiosity range, Warehouse 1 Collection and Private Casks – all of which continue to push Glen Moray’s passion for cask experimentation.
