Old Perth

Old Perth is a premium brand of blended malts. It was originally founded in 1908 and became one of the great names in blended whisky, before being discontinued in 2005 under the stewardship of Whyte & Mackay. Old Perth has since been resurrected by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers and pays homage to the eponymous city’s rich whisky-making heritage.

Old Perth blends sherried malt whiskies from a selection of renowned Speyside distilleries in the Glenlivet region. The releases are known for their sweet and spicy character, which lend themselves well to mixing in cocktails.

There are three core bottlings and two limited edition expressions. The Original, Cask Strength and 12 Year Old are all part of Old Perth’s permanent range. The Old Perth Palo Cortado, on the other hand, is a limited release, that marries Scotch with a rare type of sherry.
