Springbank

Springbank was established in 1828 and is one of only three remaining distilleries in Campbeltown. It’s located on the Kintyre Peninsula and is a family-owned business, run by the J & A Mitchell & Company.  As well as Springbank malts, the distillery also produces Hazelburn and Longrow. 

Springbank is a subtly peated whisky. Unusually, it’s been distilled two and half times, before being matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. 

The range includes a variety of aged expressions, Including the 10, 15 and 21 year olds. The entry bottling is the 10 Year Old, which is a classic Campbeltown dram, with peat, maritime and fruity notes.
