Brenne's Ten, is a 10-year-old Limited Edition annual release. This single malt is distilled twice in traditional alembic Charente stills. Brenne Ten diverges from its counterpart by aging for ten years in a mix of new French Limousin oak and Cognac casks. The proofing process mirrors the original, utilizing water from the Charente river before the whisky is bottled. This meticulous process imbues the whisky with a distinct expression of French terroir, evident in its aroma and flavour.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Delicate vanilla blossoms, interwoven with nuances of pear drops and sun-dried mango.

A Word About Brenne

Founded by Allison Parc in the Cognac region of France, Brenne is a French whisky distillery that was launched as recently as 2012. It has gained recognition worldwide and become known for its floral and fruity spirits.

Brenne takes advantage of the local terroir and the region’s history of distilling brandy to create single malts that are distinctly French. The barrels used for maturation are also sourced from nearby Cognac makers, giving their whisky an additional geographic flourish.

This is a distillery with an approachable style, with notes of pear, tropical fruits and vanilla.
