Bunnahabhain 14 Year OldRuby Port Cask Finish

From the historic Bunnahabhain Distillery, established in 1881 on the idyllic shores of Islay, comes the Bunnahabhain 14 Year Old Ruby Port Cask Finish, a special release for the Feis Ile 2024 Festival. Known for its dedication to the nuanced art of Scotch whisky production, Bunnahabhain continues to produce whiskies that are less peated compared to typical Islay malts, focusing instead on the intricate flavours developed through expert cask management. This 14 year old festival bottling began its journey in Bourbon casks on the 26th May 2009. In a turn towards innovation and flavour enrichment, it was transferred on the 17th of November 2020, into Ruby Port Hogsheads for a distinctive finish. This carefully chosen maturation process culminates in the bottling of a whisky in 2024 that bursts with the bold flavours of cherries and dark chocolate, complemented by vibrant hits of red berries and culminating in a lingering, spicy finish. With an abv of 58.7%, this unpeated Islay single malt is presented without added colour and is non-chill filtered, preserving its purest and most natural flavours.
