Daftmill 15 Year OldFife Strength 2024 Release

As with previous 15-year-old releases of Francis Cuthbert’s exquisitely distilled, home-grown malt, this Daftmill exemplifies the elegance of well-earned maturity. This bottling showcases malt crafted from barley grown in the South Fields, using the revered Optic variety—once a cornerstone of the Scotch whisky industry. A meticulous composition of twenty casks: nineteen first-fill ex-bourbon barrels complemented by a single ex-Pedro Ximénez cask. Distilled during the summer months of June, July, and August 2009, it matured gracefully in the lower level of Warehouse 2 before being bottled in December 2024 at the traditional Fife strength.
