Founded in 1825, the Edradour Distillery is tucked away in the rolling Perthshire hills and is celebrated as one of Scotland’s smallest traditional distilleries. Known affectionately as Scotland’s “Little Gem”, Edradour continues to produce whisky by hand in small batches, preserving time-honoured techniques that lend its single malts their unique charm and individuality. The Edradour 25 Year Old Madeira Cask #901 is a distinguished Highland single malt, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2025 after a full quarter-century of careful maturation. Drawn exclusively from a first-fill Madeira hogshead, this single cask release showcases the influence of fine fortified wine casks from Portugal, delivering layers of sweetness, depth and refined complexity. Bottled at natural cask strength of 55.0% ABV, un-chillfiltered and with natural colour, it offers whisky lovers the opportunity to savour Edradour in its purest form. Just 294 bottles were released in the distilleries 200th anniversary series.
