Laphroaig Elements 1.0

Launching a novel series from Laphroaig, Elements is an exploration of the unique processes at the distillery that give its whisky its distinct Laphroaig essence. Crafted exclusively from Islay malted barley, this single malt emphasizes the creative possibilities within the distillation process itself, rather than relying on the effects of varied cask finishes and aging techniques. The distillery's team was granted complete freedom to innovate, crafting a whisky that not only captures the quintessential Laphroaig character but also introduces new layers of complexity. Typically, Laphroaig achieves its signature blend of fruity and smoky flavours using semi-cloudy wort. However, for this edition, the team experimented with a 50/50 mix of fully and semi-cloudy wort, elevating the tropical notes and phenolic intensity to extraordinary levels.
