The Leiper`s Fork Tennessee Whiskey Bottled in Bond was created with a mash bill of 70% corn, 15% rye, and 15% malted barley. Charcoal filtered, which is a process that removes some of the impurities from the whiskey, and it gives the Tennessee Whiskey Bottled in Bond a smoother, more mellow flavour. Everything from mashing to bottling is carried by this independent distillery. Bottled at 50% ABV.

A Word About Leiper's Fork

Leiper’s Fork is an American craft distillery from Tennessee. Located in the village of the same name, Leiper’s Fork filled their first barrel in 2016 and have resurrected the art of producing small batch whiskey.

The distillery takes a low volume, low impact approach, following a grain to glass process. This means they do everything in-house, from grain selection through to barrel ageing and bottling. Producing only 25,000 gallons of whiskey a year, Leiper’s Fork is able to give their premium spirit complete attention.

Despite the lower output, Leiper’s Fork has a fairly extensive range of expressions. Their principal bottlings are the Bottled in Bond Bourbon and the Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whiskey. They also produce white rye and white whiskey, which have been filtered through sugar maple charcoal.

It’s still relatively early days for this small-batch distiller, but the signs are good.
