Maker's 46 marks the first innovation in Maker's Mark's recipe in over half a century, earning its name from the forty-six different wood 'recipes' tested until perfection was achieved. With a bottling strength of 47%, this bourbon undergoes partial maturation in barrels fitted with a 'ladder' of toasted new French oak staves, enriching it with additional layers of spice, sweetness, and vanilla.
