Midleton Very Rare 2024 is here. For this 2024 edition, master distiller Kevin O’Gorman increased the grain percentage and the amount of medium pot still whiskey as well as raising the number of first-fill American oak whiskey barrels of both pot and grain whiskey. The ex-bourbon casks are lightly charred, creating a whisky with succulent fruits, peeled ginger and golden syrup.
