A superb Brut Champagne from Ruinart. One of the oldest Champagne houses in all of France, which began production back in 1729. This exquisite non-vintage expression has lovely balance and subtlety. A perfect champagne for aperitifs whatever the occasion, which is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 49% Pinot Noir & 11% Meunier. Cellar master Frédéric Panaïotis ensures that this benchmark non-vintage champagne remains true to its original heritage, exhibiting the mineral clarity for which Ruinart is renowned.

Notes

Nose

Opening scents of freshly sliced green apple, slight citrus tones. with faint aromas of melon.

Palate

Full bodied with bold summer fruits -peach, mango and pineapple, coming to the front after every sip.

Finish

Sweet notes with the Chardonnay really beginning to shine through with an excellent lively mousse.

Overall

A perfect aperitif champagne to get the party started.
