This 12 year old single cask release is a stunning example of Ben Nevis’ signature character, fully matured in an Oloroso sherry barrique—a cask type not often seen in Scotch whisky maturation. Smaller than a traditional hogshead, the barrique allows for greater interaction between the spirit and the oak, intensifying the sherry influence and imparting rich, concentrated layers of flavour.
