A nine year old blended whisky from Japan. Toguchi is an intriguing brand, from the Chugoku Jozo Distillery, that ages its spirit in an unused railway tunnel. This expression marries whisky from Scotland and Canada, before spending just short of a decade in oak casks. It has lovely citrus notes of lemon and orange, with undertones of caramel, aniseed and peat smoke.
