Nestled in the picturesque hills above Pitlochry, Edradour Distillery was established in 1825 and remains one of Scotland’s smallest traditional distilleries. Long admired for its handmade approach and boutique scale, Edradour continues to produce single malt whisky using time-honoured methods – from wooden washbacks to copper pot stills, all housed in a charming cluster of whitewashed farm buildings. This release was matured exclusively in a 1st Fill Sauternes Hogshead. This elegant Highland single malt captures the richness of Edradour’s traditional style, beautifully enhanced by the luxurious sweetness of Sauternes- a prestigious French dessert wine from Bordeaux, famed for its notes of honey, stone fruits and delicate spice. Bottled at 48.2% ABV, this limited release is presented un-chillfiltered and with natural colour, ensuring the whisky retains its full character, texture and depth.
