Hennessy X.O stands as the original "extra-old" cognac, first crafted in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for the enjoyment of his close circle. Deeper in colour and far more intricate than the VSOP, it is a masterful blend of over 100 eau-de-vie, aged from seven to thirty years. The result is a sumptuous, full-bodied spirit, unfolding in complex layers of candied fruit, rich cocoa, tobacco, leather, and delicate spice. A true testament to French craftsmanship at its most refined.
