Marking the end of an era, Batch 7 is the last ever bottling of Ardbeg’s acclaimed 19 Year Old Traigh Bhan series. Inspired by Islay’s “Singing Sands” – a beach where soft white shores meet jagged volcanic rock – this rare expression captures that same tension of elegance and intensity.

Bottled at 50.3% ABV, the highest strength of any batch to date, Batch 7 reveals an impossibly balanced profile. The nose opens with rich coal dust and tar, lifted by invigorating peppermint, eucalyptus and zesty citrus. On the palate, waves of lemon peel and bergamot collide with Ardbeg’s hallmark medicinal smoke, deepened by Oloroso sherry cask influence – warming ginger, cumin and cocoa powder with a hint of espresso. The finish is long, layered with salted toffee, charred wood, tar and burning heather, underpinned by warming spice.

An exceptionally rare single malt, bottled without chill-filtration to preserve its depth and character, Traigh Bhan Batch 7 stands as both a collector’s piece and a fitting finale to one of Ardbeg’s most celebrated aged expressions.
