GlenAllachie 35 Year Old

Founded in 1967, The GlenAllachie Distillery is nestled in the heart of Speyside, Scotland’s premier whisky-producing region. While the distillery operated quietly for decades, it entered a new chapter in 2017 when it was acquired by a team led by whisky veteran Billy Walker. Under his leadership, GlenAllachie shifted its focus to producing exceptional single malts, with an emphasis on natural colour and no chill-filtration.

One of the oldest releases to emerge under Mr Walker's stewardship, this 35 year old whisky tells a story of dedication, patience, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. Presented in a lavish, hand-carved oak box, this spectacular whisky – distilled in 1989 – was matured to perfection in a combination of three Pedro Ximénez, one Oloroso, and two virgin oak casks. Personally selected by Billy Walker, these casks have produced a whisky of remarkable depth. The release also includes a booklet of Mr Walker’s handwritten notes, offering his insights and reflections on this exceptional bottling. Bottled at 48% ABV, this whisky is presented in its natural colour and un-chillfiltered.
