The SPEY brand traces its lineage to The Speyside Distillery, nestled near Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands and founded in 1990. However, the SPEY name itself dates back to 1770, when whisky from the region was first exported under the SPEY label. Revered for its smooth, approachable character, SPEY whisky gained prominence through historic trade relationships, even earning royal favour. This release has been matured over three decades and then finished in sherry casks, this limited edition whisky exemplifies the refined elegance and smooth complexity for which the Speyside distillery was renowned for. Bottled at a generous 46%abv, it offers remarkable depth and balance without the need for chill filtration or added colour.
