Dingle

Dingle is one of the newest distilleries in Ireland. It has become a key player in the revitalisation of Irish whiskey, but also produces vodka and award-winning gin. Based on the southwest coast, in County Kerry, it was founded by Oliver Hughes in 2012 and released its first single malt in 2016.

Uniquely for Irish whiskey, Dingle produces the entirety of its spirit. It’s triple-distilled and typically bottled at 46%-50%. It’s known for being light and lively, with ex-bourbon and sherry casks mainly used for maturation. 

Their single malts are released in batches. The sixth release was aged exclusively in tawny port casks, which gives the whiskey more depth and sweetness. They also offer limited editions, such as seasons-inspired Samhain and Lá le Bríde
