Teaninich

Owned by Diageo and principally used for Johnnie Walker blends, Teaninich is a largely unknown Highland distillery with few named releases. The distillery opened in 1817 and is notable for its use of a filter press, as opposed to a mash turn.

This brand’s style is that of a classic Highlander, with grassy and malty notes.

Teaninich releases are rare and Diaego has only launched one official bottling via their Flora and Fauna range – a 10 year old single malt. Despite this, there are a number of expressions from independent bottlers like Berry Bros & Rudd and Signatory.
