Amburana casks present a unique challenge due to their potent impartation of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and vanilla spice notes. To successfully enhance bourbon with Amburana while maintaining a harmonious balance requires true blending mastery. The BCS blending team skilfully crafted a bourbon blend using two different mash bills and varying char levels, finishing it in Amburana casks before bottling at 58.21% ABV.
