Ardmore 13 Year OldFresh Mezcal Finish Barrel

Ardmore Distillery, established in 1898, stands as one of Speyside's well-kept secrets. Remarkably, the original Victorian structures endure, even after expansions in the 1960s and '70s. This particular bottling, courtesy of Fragrant Drops, was distilled in 2009 and aged for a patient 13 years, including a finishing period in a Fresh Mezcal Barrel, before finding its way into bottles in 2022. As is customary with all releases in the Fragrant Drops single-cask range, it's presented in its natural colour, with no chill-filtration, preserving the whisky's authenticity and character.
