The distillery operates on 100% renewable energy and prioritizes recycling and zero waste, reflecting its commitment to the planet. This progressive ethos extends to its whisky production, where Nc'nean uses organic Scottish barley to create spirits that are both expressive and exceptional. The Nc'nean Quiet Rebels series is a tribute to influential figures who have shaped the distillery's journey. Each release in this series honours an individual whose rebellious spirit and unique contributions have defined Nc'nean’s innovative approach. The Gordon edition, named after the distillery manager, Gordon, celebrates his spirit of innovation and dedication that have been instrumental in establishing and maintaining Nc'nean's foundational practices and ethos. Limited to 8,688 bottles, this release uses blend of casks including STR (Shaved, Toasted, and Re-charred wine casks), Sherry, and Rivesaltes casks, each contributing unique flavour nuances and complexity.
