Paul John

Based in Goa, India, Paul John is an acclaimed brand of Indian single malt whisky that has deservedly attracted worldwide recognition. It was established by John Distilleries in 2012 and named after the founder, Paul. P. John. 

Paul John offers a variety of peated and unpeated malts, that have predominantly been aged in ex-bourbon casks. The tropical climate of Goa plays a key role in the development of the spirit, as it speeds up the maturation process and intensifies the interaction between the whisky and the wood. This results in a rich flavour that typically carries notes of fruit and spice.

The brand’s flagship bottlings are the Brilliance, Bold and Edited, but they also produce multiple select cask expressions, as well as a popular annual Christmas edition.
