From the initial series by Meikle Tòir, a peated whisky label crafted at GlenAllachie Distillery and guided by skilled whisky creator Billy Walker, this innovative cask profile clearly reflects his influence. The single malt Scotch whisky, peated to 35ppm with a sweeter mainland St. Fergus peat compared to coastal types, and fermented for an extensive 160 hours, was matured first in American oak bourbon barrels and then in Chinquapin virgin oak casks. These bold casks infuse the whisky with large, sweet, and rich flavours.
